Katy ISD Named 2017 Winner of CoSN Digital Equity AwardKaty ISD Named 2017 Winner of CoSN Digital Equity Award2017-10-02T16:34:08Z<div class="ExternalClass78B46892B56746B0943CD39A8739212C"><div><p>The Katy ISD Technology Department was recognized by the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) as the 2017 winner of the Community Leadership in Digital Equity Award at its 2017 national conference in Chicago on April 3rd, 2017.</p><p>Katy ISD is in the fourth year of bridging the digital divide, helping many of its students who do not have high-speed Internet or devices at home. Through the district’s Digital Divide Program, Katy ISD is providing students the opportunity to loan devices and WiFi hotspots from each campus library. Katy ISD Earns Top Honors for Digital Content & Curriculum Katy ISD Earns Top Honors for Digital Content & Curriculum 2016-07-06T13:44:08Z<div class="ExternalClassDBE5E928F37846C1ADE3285BD0FE5509"><p>The Center for Digital Education (CDE), in collaboration with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) announced their Digital Content and Curriculum Achievement Awards (DCCA) in Denver on June 29, 2016.
