Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS)

By far the largest of our Partners in Education programs, VIPS brings volunteers into every Katy ISD campus to work alongside faculty and staff.  Although most volunteers are parents, community members are welcome, too.  Some volunteers serve their campus through a weekly assignment, others provide support as needed.  All volunteers serve through the campus volunteer program as directed by the campus principal.  During the 2005-2006 school year, over 11,000 Katy ISD VIPS donated 525,776 hours of service to our students and staff.
