The process of basketball is vital, not just the result of winning or losing. We will do everything possible to win, but the character traits derived from basketball in a good program can carry a woman throughout her adult life. Building character traits is an essential aspect of the program. We genuinely feel that the game of basketball is one of the most excellent learning tools that a young person can have. It teaches one never to quit, never to give up, or never to give in. Our players will experience failure and how to respond to the loss positively. Basketball will teach one to face adversity and learn to overcome it. It leads one to work together with many different groups of people to achieve a common goal.
